Nobody came for Angulo. He has no fans. He was terribly promoted by Garry Shaw when he was worth something, and did nothing but lose and look like shit when finally he got a real promote in Golden Boy.

I don't know, Angulo was getting more cheers before the fight started. Then the crowd completely shifted once the bell rang. I don't know what was going on with the crowd.

Shaw didn't do a terrible job, Shaw got him a fight with Sergio Martinez around 2010 for 750k and Angulo turned it down. Shaw was shocked that he did that.

Went just as I thought it would. Angulo slow as a turtle with no defense and Canelo a counter puncher with enough power to do damage. I hope this ppv did awful. That way they only put WORTHY PPVS.

I wouldn't have thrown anything at Canelo though, he came to fight and you have to respect him for that. It wasn't his fault the fight got stopped either... If anything they should have thrown objects at Weeks, that I would have done without a second though.

It's just like Froch v Groves, the crowd blamed Froch. Boxing fans really aren't the brightest.

The crowd booed Froch cos hes so arrogant that he actually believed that he was winning the fight, not just that the ref stopped it.

People shouldn't have booed Canelo, he did absolutely nothing wrong. In fact he was respectful even though most other fighters would have been way more arrogant.

Weeks made a big mistake, if he cannot tell that that fight should not have been stopped then he should be considering a new job. Just like Howard Foster. If people make big mistakes like that in other sports, like Graham Poll did in the 2006 world cup after giving 3 yellow cards, they normally reassess what they are doing and rightly so.
