DEAN Francis is still dreaming of a world title shot at the ripe old age of 40. Francis will be one of the stars of a new eight-man light-heavyweight tournament which begins later this month and he hopes it can propel him nearer that title tilt.

wow! dean francis...the basingstoke bomber, shame about dean coz he could really hit at supermiddle right up until he done his shoulder against that african fellah. (dont know his name) then, they gave the other guy the nod and the strap with bos from the hampshire crowd.
anybody remember that fight? his shoulder dislocated late on but, if that injury never happened...dean francis would have done equally well as froch in my view.
he always seemed to hold back after that with the power shots.
