Man. You got people saying Angulo was paid off , Canelo's a fraud , and the stoppage was too soon ? What's with all the hate ? Seriously ? Paid off to allow another man to batter him silly ? Not too big on Canelo , but u had respected trainers and fighters actually predicting an Angulo stoppage ! And in the moment yeah it looked a bit early but in light of Mogamed and FRANKIE LEAL I'd rather it stopped a little too soon than a little too late . These men put their life on the line for our entertainment ( and cash ,obviously ) . And for some of us come on here calling them bums and frauds sounds a bit hateful . Plus Canelo looked waaay better than what I expected . good solid win ginger .

What CANELO did in the 9th round keeping his hands down letting PERRO hit him was simply amazing,he remeinded me WINKY vs MOSLEY;i will never say no more that CANELO has a suspect chin because doing a crazy move like that vs a puncher like PERRO means you are confident about what you can take. CANELO fought a Jet-plane in JUNIOR so last night PERRO was so slow that CANELO did everything he wanted,we have to give credit to him the way he imposed his strenght and skills....GREAT VICTORY!!! About the stoppage? PERRO could go on but honestly he took hard shots all night and the KO was in the air,i understand that a pride warrior like him wanted continue but honestly he was done. CANELO is better than most people think IMO!

Canelo could afford to get lax defensively because of how much punishment he dished out before-hand. Angulo didn't have the power/speed/energy to land a one hitter-quitter at that point. I'm not sure if this fight showed or proved anything about Canelo because Angulo didn't bring anything to the table.
