What's next for Jorge "human highlight reel" Linares?

Needless to say the guy has all the talent in the world, but cant absorb punishment. Im not sure about chin, but i think its heart. Nonetheless, hes an immensely talented individual who already is a two weight champ. Now those were vacant titles, but hes not being hyped to death like some dudes.

What are his chances against Omar "block punches with my face" Figueroa?

How would he do against other belt holders given he doesnt follow through with his mandatory shot at Omar?

    Vasquez (IBF)?
    Abril (WBA)?
    Crawford (WBO)?

I think he will get grilled by Omar and Crawford. However, he does have a great chance against Vasquez. As for Abril im not even sure what to say as both are great, but ill pick Abril.

For his chin to eventually get checked again, Linares is insanely skilled, I'll always root for him but that chin of his sucks

The preciseness and quickness he has are inhumane.

I used to be really high on Linares, but he is just a more rounded version of Amir Khan. Is he really all that skilled? Or is he really fast? I mean for someone so skilled everyone he fights tends to hurt him at least once. Thats not a sign of a good defense.

Jorge looked very good tonight but as much as I and a lot of nsb like Arawka the dude offers very little he is slow, isn't a huge puncher and with Jorges movement could never set himself too launch any assault.Jorges face cutting up is always gunna be a problem.I'd like too see Jorge try and fight Abril again.I know it wouldn't be exciting but it would be a top class technical fight

has Broner officially dropped his belt at LW yet?
it's been a while, haven't been paying attention
either way, he's done at LW so that belt is open
Linares will probably fight Arakawa for the title next
and he'll most likely get KO'd or busted up for a TKO, like always

Omar has been elevated to full champion status according to the WBC site.

I think last night's fight was an eliminator so im assuming its Omar and like you said as usual he'll get busted up and the will of his opponent will take over the skill.

He has no defense at all and he doesn't have any ring IQ either.

Linares has talent but falters in the tangibles department.

It's too bad doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see him fight.

it really should have been linares-figueroa last night, instead they wanted to put them both in what seemed like showcase fights.
