But I think the Trout fight was a very necessary one. Trout had just beaten Cotto, had a belt, and was undefeated. But Lopez, he definitely didn't need.

However, keep in mind that Canelo had weird circumstances rearranging his schedule. He was scheduled to fight Paul Williams before, right? Then the plan was Victor Ortiz (but then he got stopped). He could have fought Angulo and Lara earlier too though.

Also bare in mind that well, Angulo didn't reaaally turn up tonight, I wasn't expecting him to win, but I was expecting some sort of performance, had any the other previous opponents before Mayweather fought the same as Angulo did tonight then he would've had this erm, hype which we now speak of.
