Even though the fights have been all action, I sincerely hope no promoter EVER puts this many little guys on a PPV card again

linares is good but he is kinda of like gabe rosado where his face cuts up almost every time out. Linares vs figueroa would be a good match up but id rather see Figueroa vs Thompson two sluggers slugging it out

What are these two guys doing in a title eliminator?

Oh wait it is the WBC!

I thought title eliminators were always 12 rounds? Linares was clearly winning the fight, but he would've beat DeMarco too if their fight had been 10 rounds. Linares has still never been 12 rounds in his career and the one time he went past the 10th he was stopped.

Thats boxing politics though and its not the first time Arakawa has had to deal with it. He was robbed of a win against Estrada in Mexico. He was clearly battering Estrada throughout the fight and when one of his eyes swelled up they said if was from a butt or elbow or some bull****. What should've been a TKO for Nihito ended up being a TD loss for him. The WBC sure hasn't been doing him any favors but I guess they've got him some exposure outside of Japan at least.

Good performance from Jorge, he still stands in front of his opponent and waits for the receipt when he's tired, but at least now he knows how to clinch and recuperate.

I don't like his chances against Figueroa, but I think he would beat Vazquez easy. Fights against Abril and Crawford would be intriguing.
