    Canelo/Angulo resembles Cotto/Margarito...

All of the expert predictions that I keep reading say that it will be an exciting fight which I do kind I agree with although I'm def not buying a Ppv w that as main attraction. Regardless i kind of see Canelo being like the cotto and Angulo being the margarito in this fight. Both men capable of KO power but one having a clear cut skill advantage over the other. Except the man w less skill has always been known to keep coming foward at all costs. Off the top if my head I think the only time I saw Angulo knocked out was vs Kirkland. so it does make for an interesting fight. I just can't see myself paying 60 bux for a fight in which I don't really think either is a Ppv headliner yet ( depending g on their opponent ). My pick is Canelo in 10.

Angulo is dangerous, this is going to be a tough fight for Canelo. Angulo will come in hungry and will try to make it a war. With that said I think Canelo's defense is better than Cotto's, while Cotto's offense is better than Canelo's, and Canelo is as big as Angulo, while that was not the case with Cotto vs Margarito. Margarito was the clear bigger man, even coming into the fight. Which is one of the reasons I picked Marg, I felt he was gonna be too big, too strong and too active. I can't say the same for Canelo-Angulo because they are both just as big and strong as each other.

Canelo is much better than Cotto. Look at the difference when they both fought Trout. Canelo takes a punch much better and hits much harder than Cotto and he is much bigger and stronger than Cotto. I don't think Canelo will have any problem knocking out Angulo in 6 rounds or less.

I think Canelo is better but it's unfair to talk about their 154 fights because Canelo is clearly bigger and was always destined to move up in weight fast. Just like Canelo did better against Trout, Cotto did better against Floyd. So it kinda evens out as far as common opponents go(that they fought in their prime).

And no, Canelo will not KO Angulo in 6. I may give you a late TKO, but i'd be much more comfortable in a 12 round decision. Angulo is huge, he's not a WW like Lopez, or shot like Cintron. Look at the top 10 JMW's Canelo has fought, Rhodes, Trout, Mayweather, his power didn't really show in those fights aside from knocking down Trout and stopping Rhodes in the 12th round, but his power didn't show like it did against Lopez, Gomez and Cintron.

Wtf,,,, on what earth is canelo better than cotto....

Cotto is a much better fighter, with boatloads of big fights, numerous titles and has been on championship level for a decade..

I do think this fight does resemble cotto-margs, but cotto and margs are higher skill level than canelo and angulo

I think this fight will resemble the rematch, because like margs damaged eye after manny and angulo's damaged eye after Lara, I think angulo will come on strong in the 2nd half and they will stop it quick on his eye being swollen

Margarito is MUCH better than Angulo, and had a little something something in his gloves. C'mon son.

That's a ridiculous comparison. Angulo is dangerous but not on the level Margarito was, and Canelo does not compare to that version of Cotto either.

I get the comparison. I don't see Cotto and Canelo being on the same level as Cotto and Margarito at that time though.
