    The weigh-ins problem

Since this is the second weigh in controversy in a high profile fight already in the month of March, does the weigh-in system need revamping? Personally i would like to see the weigh-in be held the same day as the fight. I'm tired of seeing guys looking like they just got rescued from a concentration camp the day of the weigh in then put on 10-20 lbs overnight and come in way well over the weight limit for their division. I think it is safer for the fighter's health as well.

So do you like it the way it is or do you think it needs adjustment as well? What adjustments would you make?

The guys who come in 15-20 pounds heavier are bums who can't fight at the higher weight cause they'll get destroyed. Real fighters like Floyd and Manny probably walk around at the weight they fight at. Canelo,Angelo etc..they would get destroyed by GGG Ward etc...

Fighters will forever try to get a massive size advantage but I do wish fighters fought at their natural weights. I'd love same day weigh ins to come back, it would also make for more entertaining fights since guys won't be heavily outweighed as much.

Honestly, who cares its not a title fight and Canelo paid for the extra pound so everyone is happy, its now a 155lb fight this is not a problem.

As long as the fighters actually make weight at the weigh-in I don't mind, but Salido attended the weigh-in being closer to the lightweight limit than featherweight one. Imagine if Kovalev and Stevenson fought and one of them weighed in at 188lbs (closer to the cruiserweight limit) while the other was 175lbs (the light heavyweight limit).

I second this - same day weigh ins are the best way of minimising this kinda buls#it. Both 'Nelo and Perro are likely to be fighting in excess of 170lbs, (probably 172-4) that's the same weight as Froch in the ring ffs.

I get that previous day weigh-ins were introduced, supposedly, for the sake of the fighters' health, but all it has achieved is making possible even more extreme draining and even more grotesque weight disparities.

Let's get the hell back to guys of the same size fighting each other instead of SMWs fighting JMWs

Yeah and he is probably relived he didn't have to sweat off an extra half lb. He could possibly weigh more in the ring than ginger boy, Angulo is a big SWW.

Who do you think will win? I have Angulo by ko, I don't think much of Canelo he is still vastly untested or proven as a world class fighter.
