Oh great now I have rabid pac fans teaming up on me........ your joking me
pacman especially back then was TRULY a 1 handed fighter who spammed the damn straight left to the face. watch the morales fight and tell me how many left hands he throws???? also the hatton shot a hail mary? it was clear from the get go manny was too good for him and beat the utter **** out of him for the entire fight. wasnt he knocked down in rd 1? come on man. hatton is a great fighter now ur playing this game trying to discredit his accomplishments in the ring. come on man!!
Prime for me are his best performances against his best contemporaries.
Barrera/Marquez/Morales rematch trumps Cotto and Hatton easily, no doubt.
Hatton can't lay a glove on these guys status wise. Hatton who was saved by the ref against some journeyman when he got rocked? Hatton? Who had the worst trainer ever for that style?
Cotto looked like ass against Clottey, and Manny still needed a catchweight. Get outta here.
Come on, son.Comment

why are we making excuses trying to discredit those wins. he beat hatton and cotto come on, no need to play this game. its been done to death and this thread isnt about that. i think hatton and cotto are great fighters. are they better then the big 3 mexican legends of our era, heck no. you're right i agree with that. btw, im no rabid pacfan. if it seems like i was attacking apologies but i really do think hatton and cotto are great. but not greater! then jmm barrera morales. peace brotherOh great now I have rabid pac fans teaming up on me.

Well you certainly took issue with something I said, coming from another poster in our conversation so of course I'm going to assume youre a big pacfan with him your avi.why are we making excuses trying to discredit those wins. he beat hatton and cotto come on, no need to play this game. its been done to death and this thread isnt about that. i think hatton and cotto are great fighters. are they better then the big 3 mexican legends of our era, heck no. you're right i agree with that. btw, im no rabid pacfan. if it seems like i was attacking apologies but i really do think hatton and cotto are great. but not greater! then jmm barrera morales. peace brother
Guess what, I don't pick anyone today to beat a Prime James Toney. What does that have to do with an ounce of anything?Comment

I can't understand half of the Floyd or Pac fans on here so it's a moot point
Youre a solid poster though I enjoy your insight.

That's the thing. When Pac rammed right through Mexico's ATGs he was still considered beatable. Everytime he went up another class starting at Featherweight he was being considered as the underdog. It wasn't until he conquered 3 weight classes in a span of a year against HOF'ers did he become truly unbeatable. No one doubted he would win every time after the 2008-2010 run. That was his prime.Oh great now I have rabid pac fans teaming up on me.
