Thurman is a real talent. There could be big things in line for him if he can get the fights. I'm not sure a Mayweather fight might be the right thing for him just yet. As a guilty pleasure of a boxing fan, I'd like to see it, but there's not really much tongain for Mayweather as Thurman's in the same spot as Canelo (being a bit green), and a fight against such a tricky opponent might undo some confidence in Thurman.

I'd like to see Khan or Brook take him on. Or maybe direct Thurman to a title and let him defend it a couple of times before throwing him in the really deep end.

I like Thurman, but I want to see him fight better opponents. He has fought very tough, durable C fighters in Karass, Chaves, Zaveck and Quintana but now I want to see him against solid B fighters. I know he's willing to fight any one, even the elites, but i'd like to see him fight a B fighter. Alexander is a solid B guy, Porter is out there, Malignaggi. Collazo and Lopez may not be B fighters but I would rate them as B- and better than C.
