With the experience he gained from fighting salido, I think loma can win this now with a comfortable decision or even a KO

Despite GRjr's lack of opposition i'd still like to see Lomachenko drop a few more levels to sort out some basic ish. Problem with fighting at this level is if he wins then he'll be expected to stay at that level. I'm not sure he's eady for that yet.

However i do think Lomachenko would beat Russel. Speed, combinations and flash are all traits Lomachenko has seen over and over in the Amateurs.

He needs lower level Salido's imo

Russel's midget frail hands will do nothing to Lomachenko, Russell has been fighting Deontay Wilder type opponents that serves him nothing

The 6 idiots that voted for Loma need to leave out the back door. Morons.

It's hard to pick lomachenko based on just his amateur pedigree especially after what happened against salido. He clearly has the tools but he needs a little bit experience.

Maybe a couple of 10 round fights under his belt. That way he gains confidence going deep into fights and not worry about his stamina. In the salido fight he was worried about losing stamina and was preserving his energy therefore greatly affecting his output in the early rounds.

I think Russell's hand speed would be a little too complicated for lomachenko right now especially with the lack of experience fighting 10/12 rounds.

I like Gary but Lomachenko will probably destroy him

Lomachenko probably learned at least a bit from the Salido fight, and I think Russell will give him less trouble. If he was able to hurt a tough guy who came in as a middle weight, landed like 40 low blows (which he just took and kept it moving), and fought overall very dirty, just imagine what he'd do to Gary

This. GRJ has the experience in the pros, but what true experience does one get from fighting TBAs? Bums who don't challenge you, most decent level boxers will bulldoze their way through. Fighting a seasoned pro world champ so quick into your pro career and dealing with so many disadvantages and still making it close is a testament to Loma. He beats Gary.
