Yes, deservedly so, but probably not on first ballot.

He has been a dominant force in the HW division for more than a decade overall, and that has to count. His resume is not the best, but that's because he fought in a weak HW era, and he had to share the few worthy challengers with Wlad.

      No he's not.

If you think so, you have no clue what ATG means.

Vitali is an absolute shoe in to make the HOF. Nom question about. Still one of the most unbeatable fighters I've ever seen.

By definition he's NOT an all-time great.

Whether or not he's an ATG heavyweight can be debated in terms of how you define it.

But he's not a top 100 fighter of all times based on all weigthclasses.

His resume is simply not strong enough - at all.

                However, he's a HOFamer.

he couldn't even knock out chris byrd who is tiny(210). in fact byrd knocked him out. reality hurts doesn't it? small guys would give him more problems since he's so slow of hand and foot. of course the slow fat guys who stood right in front of him got destroyed but that's all he fought his entire career cept for lewis and byrd who beat him. overrated cherry picking clown.

guess you missed the 2 times he lost. that's a shame. those were also coincidentally the 2 times he fought someone good. so weird. so if golovking retired right now he would be unbeatable because he beat a lot of bums? seriously just stop. he beat no one good.
