Quoted from Virgil Hunter in an interview over at ESB

"In fact, Hunter came right out and said that Khan will not be be fighting Broner next. It looks like Golden Boy Promotions will likely put Khan in with a safe opponent to put him in position to face Mayweather either later on this year or next year."

Hunter dismisses the idea of Khan fight Adrien Broner next by saying “I can tell you this it won’t be Adrien Broner.”

So, the all too common term "ducking" is again being used without any factual information to support it.

My next opponent will be announced very soon, he won't be ranked low as 33. Lmao. :-)

          Ouch lol

Khan and Brook will be a huge fight next year mark my words

It doesn't make sense for them to fight this year as Groves and Froch are taking all the limelight and also Sky only can handle 1 pay per view at a time...

Next summer at Wembley or some other football stadium, it will happen.

Keep playing it safe waiting for khan it might backfire and you can run into a spoiler .
But it doesn't matter at all if the Americans want it. It is a big domestic scrap.

The money is on the table.

Big fights can get made here. I wouldn't expect casual American fans to bother with it - why would they?

It will be Khan's biggest pay day.

Lmaoo that part was not in quotes and the author's own opinion.

The article uses quotes from Hunter to add credibility to the article, but the rest is the author's own arguments/opinions.

You cant use the author's opinion and just put quotes around it to suit your own agenda lol. With that logic you think Hunter wouldve said this:

With Khan being so close to a potential cash out fight against Mayweather, he can't afford a risky fight that could ruin it for him to get his payday fight.

This is from the same article you used.

You should have read the article carefully before posting.

                  The point being ...

#1 - No one in GBP wants Khan fighting Broner
#2 - GBP is looking for soft-targets for Khan (hmm, I wonder why?)
#3 - Broner isn't ducking Khan ... It would seem that GBP is keeping Khan safe & sound
#4 - How many elite fighters need to be kept safe by their promoters because its just a matter of time before they get ktfo in the big stage

Point being what? Fabricated quotes do not validate an opinion.

Even then ill answer all your points:

                    1) You work at GBP?
                    2) Luis Collazo, Porter and maybe Guerrero are all better than Brook/Broner
                    3) Really? Khan is a co-promoter and sent an offer yet no reply plus Khan has smacked Paulie and beat Maidana where as Broner struggled with one and got humiliated by other.
                    4) I dont know but Khan has beaten more names than Broner and Brook COMBINED. Give Khan Brook/Broner's opponents and he will be UNDEFEATED.
