I guarantee you that Loma already has more fans. He already has more credibility. Why you think that they're already thinking about offering him Russell?
Lots of truth in this. Have no idea of the logic behind GRJr's career path.
    Nevertheless, he kicks Lomachenko's ass.

Fights like these are why I love boxing. Two young, talented guys in a toss-up fight that would provide fireworks.

But this is boxing, so this fight won't happen.

Gary Russell, Jr/Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo will be the fight for the WBO

Vasyl Lomachenko/Evgeny Gradovich for the IBF then winner fights Nicholas Walters for the WBA

This would be a very interesting fight

I doubt it gets made but if it's a vacant title, let it go to a purse bid..

Sad thing is that neither has done anything to deserve a title shot,, let alone 2 in a row for lomochenko

That's a joke right.. A fighter with two fights is not as tested as a fighter with over 20 fights no matter the competition. .. get of Lomos Nu***

I see what people see in Lomo but they are to far on his nut**. Though Russell Jr hasn't faced the greatest of competition but the man has been a pro for a few years while Lomo is coming in with 2 fights and 1 lose ... While Russell has freaky fast hands and some power. I wouldn't be surprised if this fight did occured if Russell won with a **** and ended the overly hyped fighter

Loma got some decent work with Salido - he finished strong and had good stamina, it's not a bad baseline to work from.

But this fight right now, just no. Loma was supposed to get by Salido because of his boxing and he looked lost - in this one here it would be against a fast handed, accurate technician. I can't see it.

Loma might move better than Russell tbh, but at only two fights, it will be a big question on whether he knows how to identify when and how to use that to win close rds and close fights. Gradovich is a better fight but that's tough too, esp with him handling someone like Dib twice. If Loma is forced to clinch instead of punch like Dib often does then he could b in trouble again
