Italian welterweight Gianluca Branco is sidelined with a knee injury and his upcoming fight against EBU champion Leonard Bundu, that was set for April 12, is cancelled. Whether or not Bundu is still to defend the title against a substitute is an open question. Bundu vs Branco was to be the co-feature along with Valery Yanchy vs Andrea Sarritzu for the vacant EBU flyweight title on this OPI 2000 promotion. No site have been announced.

I hate the fact BUNDU's promoter is doing nothing good for LEONARD at this point,he is 39y and better than ever,high ranked welterweight list and he has a fight vs BRANCO...ridicolous. GIANLUCA BRANCO fought very well in his last fight and like his brother SILVIO,he seems to improve with age but BUNDU deserves a title eliminator fight!!!
