Are you seriously suggesting that bungalows logic should be given more credence than cottos own words?

Cotto was beaten by manny on earlier rounds than expected; not just beaten but utterly dominated. If it happened on late rounds a case for stamina issue would of matter.

He wants to use floyd because it is easier to handle on his ego. Remember: this miguel cotto is very prideful man, small things matter to him and we all know it would be easier to accept if it's floyd because after all floyd is known to be universally the most skilled on the planet today, and thus, it's easier to go by that reason alone.

But, don't be fooled, 'evidence does not lie' manny is harder and ten times more dangerous for him than floyd ever did.

Exactly what I was thinking. Even when the evidence was first presented I remember him saying that margs beat him fair and it was a tough fight. Then later he brings up his ****** iPad and started to cry about it! Cotto is a fawking cry baby

catchweight in reality didnt really matter. Still, if people want to use it against pac he deserves the win getting somewhat tainted for the catchweight.

with the 24 hr rehydration, catchweights are totally unnecessary.

But for arguments sake, yea pac win deserves some criticism for the catch weight which was not needed to beat cotto.

Yeaaaaaaaaaah, Arum has THAT much power, where he can tell a millionaire fighter with a HUGE Puerto Rican fan base to keep his mouth closed about something like that.

Reaching for the stars are we?

Pretty sure it was on last week's golpe a golpe, if not the week prior. Hosts were playing a game of speed Q&A when one asks Cotto which fight proved his most difficult, and after replying Mayweather Chavez Sr personally requests to know why the answer wasn't Pacquiao given the brutal nature in which he lost. If memory serves, Cotto mentions how Floyd's skill level was the determining factor. JMM said the same once as I recall..
Chavez Sr then expressed his belief in Cotto to defeat Sergio Martinez.

....ah, I did forget, Cotto brought up the weight issue as the OP states in his opening line. In the interview he tells everyone how it took a toll on him and feels it was executed as an advantageous tactic on behalf of Pac and his team.

Someone brings up Mayweather giving Cotto the luxury of fighting in his comfort zone at Junior MW to which Cotto agrees, basically saying if he'd been allowed to prepare himself the way he had against Floyd, the Manny fight would've been a different affair.

I mean lets look at the facts, cotto got the **** beat out of him by pacquiao and margarito. Mayweather-cotto, while one sided atleast had the semblance of a competitive fight. And before the fight with pac it always "the weight is fine", after his beating, "oh the weight hurt me". Just saying.
