Respect for you , Loma . You are making no excuses at all . Now , why not you and rigo at 122 ? This would have been the final in the 2008 Olimpic games , had rigo not defected to the USA . What about it ?

But Loma is. those bandwagon goofs don't matter no way. But maybe they'll stop their crying setting how mature and honest Loma is

I'm not a fan of Loma, but I am quickly changing my stance off his post fight analysis of himself. You gotta give respect when you take it upon yourself and don't go the Donaire route like Loma's doing.

To me, he showed a lot against a world class opponent in Salido, in only his second bout. Especially with all odds against him.

I disagree with what he is saying; his opponent missed weight and fouled him throughout the fight. However it is the perfect attitude for a fighter to have, and I cannot commend him enough for it. In life you can whine about the things that got in the way of success, or you can focus on the things you are in control of and make yourself a stronger person. Wish him the best in his career.

I have no doubt this guy will be a pound for pound top 10 in a few years. He learned on the spot, and finally figured it out, but it was too late. This is probably the best kind of loss an up and coming pro fighter can have, especially with all the circumstances. Loma will fight for the vacant belt next more than likely.

I don't dislike Loma, But he is an idiot. I called that he would lose. He will never be undefeated again, the only reason this is bad is because it was his own arrogance that caused it. It was SO easy to how he taught he'd just walk into pro boxing and be the best. He's not gonna get a Rigo fight now.

He could come back in a couple fights and pick up a belt against an easier opponent. He could still end up fighting Rigondeaux next year. It's not like he is so far from world class that he is years away. We saw against Salido he can at least be competitive with world class fighters.

I thought he'd lose to Salido as well, but what I saw suggests someone talented who just needs to be trained out of fighting like an amateur.
