Broner is a complete fraud and they're protecting him. Khan would embarrass him and send him into obscurity. It's appalling. And, don't get me wrong I'm not one of those deluded Khan fans. Just, just man, if Broner wants to be elite--don't protect him.

Apparently Broner ignored it too all day yesterday. He would have made more from a Khan fight than just about any other fight on the planet. He was a big bag of wind yesterday.

And he was okay with Maidana in a rematch at 147. Clear duck.

If Broner goes to 140, Schaefer should put him in with Matthysse on that doubleheader card he was talkin about

I believe Broner is willing to fight at 147 but his team isn't confident at the weight anymore so they won't allow him to go thru with it.
I'm sure broner is willing to mix it up w Khan as well. But from a business standpoint, I don't understand the idea of protecting fighters from getting hurt. This would likely be a good scrap before a large PPV audience (bc of mayweather headline) and good scraps often create rematches, which could even turn into a trilogy, thus making both guys independent stars. All of the wars that Barrera, morales, Marquez, & PAC had with each other were the direct result of managers not protecting fighters from each other. And each one of those guys went on to command millions.
