Schafer is full of sh.t! The truth is neither he nor Stephen Espinoza want to risk putting Khan in the ring with Broner because they are afraid he will lose and will forever forfeit his chance against Mayweather. He claimed Khan wants quality matches at 147 in preparation for Floyd. However, I would bet that both Khan and Broner will be fighting subpar opponents in their next fight. Khan will likely be pitted against Victor Ortiz because that is probably the only guy at 147 that Khan might beat.

Slick Rick not a marinator? Maybe so, but he sure is 100% ass clown.
Not a marinator? He allowed Alvarez vs his mandatory opponent to marinate at 154 for three years.

Haha Schaefer is a ****, so is Broner. How can you duck someone that can be knocked out so easily. He'll be the American Mundine in terms of popularity soon.

Nice excuse for Mayweather not to fight Khan next tho...

Both of them are pretty much at their full potential now I don't see either getting much better than they already are. Khan could easily lose to Collazo as Broner to Molina. There are no low risks fights for them so Schafer might as well go ahead and give the fans the fight their demanding. No sense in trying to take it slow and let things marinate now
while the bold might be dead on, IMO Broner has a bit more wiggle room, as he's yet to fight at 140 even

with Khan already wanting to campaign @ Welter, yeah he's pretty much cooked and they gotta be careful with how he's matched

but Broner is coming off a loss, so GB will build him up as a contender at Junior Welterweight

More so than anyone ducking anyone, the fight is not happening because it is a terrible long term business move.

They're trying to milk these two guys and there ain't a lot of milk left in the tit for the loser (if any milk left at all.)

I thought Broner was rematching Maidana, Mr Schaefer? Where's that rematch clause? Wrapped tightly around your ***** as you f yourself? Khan would've further ruined your pseudo star.

Schaefer is starting to sound more and more like uncle Bob everyday. Broner was going to rematch Maidana immediately so what the f**k are you talking about. I guess I won't be paying this one-sided ppv.

Such a bull**** stance from Schaefer, when has 7 pounds ever been this insurmountable?

He should just be honest and say "Look, another loss from either of these two right now and we've chucked millions down the drain. Let me match them easily in their new weight divisions, build them back up, then I'll let them fight each other".

There's nothing more annoying than a promoter who treats the fans like idiots. We know exactly why they won't fight each other next, just be honest about it for ****'s sake.

Schaefer acting as a human shield for Broner

Isn't this exactly the kind **** he accuses Bob Arum of doing?
