Thurman/Collazo would be great... finally test Keef. And give Matthysse a fringe contender for his comeback.

I should have said only Mexicans sell BIG in L.A., that card could probably pull a good 4,000 still. 90% of that would be Mexicans. Broner vs. Maidana in San Antonio pulled in 10,000+ with only Jesus Soto Karass and Leo Santa Cruz on the undercard. Mexicans watch boxing either way, but a card full of Mexicans is an automatic sellout in California and Texas.Comment

Formiddable opponent my as.s! Schafer will put Thurman's protected asss in the ring with another slow stiff like Jan Zaveck and try to pass it off as Thurmans best competition yet.. Schafer has a different definition of what constitutes a formidable opponent than most boxing fans.Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer is planning to stage a "power punch" Showtime televised doubleheader on April 26th. The event could potentially land at StubHub Center in Carson, California - other venues are being explored as well.
The fight would showcase two of Golden Boy's biggest hitters, Keith Thurman (22-0, 20KOs) and Lucas Matthysse (34-3, 32KOs), in separate fights.
