I'm sorry, I don't hate Quillin but this is pathetic. You cant fight twice a year and pick a complete bum. This is absurd. He's defended himself saying he's getting money not stepping up, but how much money can you really get with inactivity, fighting bums, and not headlining?

Konecny may have been a good opponent...for a light middleweight about ten years ago. His most notable fight, so far as I can tell, is a somewhat close fight with Dzinziruk back when Konecny was younger. Haven't actually seen the fight. But this is really a pathetic fight. Quillin had options like Macklin, Stevens, Jacobs, etc. and went with an old junior middleweight? This is worse than Rosado, who at least wasn't old. Oh wait, Quillin said he doesn't pick his opponents and only fights for money. I'll watch a bit of Konecny to see if he offers any challenge whatsoever for Quillin.
