Comments Thread For: Crolla vs. Murray Added To 4/19 Manchester Show

Anthony “Million Dollar” Crolla and John Murray will meet on the Eddie Hearn-promoted show at Manchester’s Phones 4U Arena on April 19 in an eagerly anticipated lightweight local derby.

The two Mancunians have been on a collision course ever since Murray returned from a near two-year layoff in November and, although still firm friends, the fighters have acknowledged that the fight makes financial and fistic sense. [Click Here To Read More]

Domestically, it's a very strong division for us with plenty of great fights to be made. Burns will probably get involved again fighting the pick of the pack after they've sorted that out between themselves (most likely a Crolla fight).

Coyle-Buckland would be a war and a fight I hope to see happen soon. I don't know what Rees is doing but him against Mitchell would make for a good fight I reckon.

Then you've got the likes of Campbell, Cardle, Ward, Flanagan, Buckland etc.

finally eddie hearn is showing some balls making his lightweights fight each other. hopefully he make mitchell-coyle next. its time they fight 50/50's and not featherweights and super featherweights. think murray can stop crolla. murray is a machine and he can punch. crolla doesnt hit hard enough to worry him.

Really looking forward to this fight. Both Manchester fighters, so the atmosphere in Manchester should be good.

Tough one to call. I would of thought Murray would of needed another 'come back' fight to get back into he swing of things..but i fancy him in this one.
Crolla has the better skill set and is very game..don't think he has the power to keep Murray off him though. Should be fun.

Anyone know why murray left Joe Gallagher? Seems to be plenty of bad blood there!

So the winner is the "c@ck of Manchester"??? based on the last Murray article regarding Crolla.
