The big day: March 4th, HBO or Showtime?

HBO offers a very weak card in Cotto vs. Branco, which could morph into an entertaining, although pointless battle.

Showtime offers the biggest Super Middleweight bout since Toney-Jones 12 years ago when Lacy challenges Calzaghe. Both are undefeated just like Toney and Jones were in 94. Both guys are knockout artists looking for supremacy.

Even Cotto fans gotta tape HBO and watch Showtime IMO.

Benn-McClellan was a far, far bigger world-wide fight than Calzaghe-Lacy, but Lacy seems a huge name in America so he seems to be making this a huge fight in America.

Yeah, it'll be a really tough decision..

possibly one of the best Super-middleweight clashes ever by two undefeated fighters, or Miguel Cotto vs. Gianluca Branco... yup, tough decision.. Honestly, i don't know why HBO bothers to even be on tv that night, boxing wise.

I agree with you......Even if Cotto is your favorite fighter you can't miss Lacy/Calzaghe.

You guys haven't mentioned the Mosley-Vargas replay though. If you don't order the fight and choose not to download it and it turns out to be a barnburner, then the decision gets tougher. Either way, if you ain't got DVR you ain't livin so it doesn't matter to me
