Though Curtis Stevens’ next fight won’t be on HBO, promoter Kathy Duva of Main events is hoping that the aggressive middleweight will be back on the network later in 2014.

There had been hopes that Stevens’ next fight would be against former titleholder Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam.

“Unfortunately HBO was not inclined to purchase that fight, and I can’t afford it on NBC [Sports Network],” Duva told BoxingScene.com on Feb. 28. “So hopefully it happens, maybe later in the year.”

Stevens made it sound like he was back April 4th....but might not happen now that they're putting a whole bunch of fights on April 4th.

Mike Lee evidently will just fight on there, so maybe TR still has him and are footing the bill for that.... I don't know

Hey I'm all for Curtis Stevens getting some serious moolah and exposure. He always is involved in an entertaining fight, punches like a bomb has hit you, and he stays in shape. All that can't be said for many top MW contenders.
