Hope the Khan fight gets made instead of the Molina one. Khan losing on the Mayweather undercard and his chances at them fighting going down the drain is a wet dream.

Check out the fight again. Yes, Khan dropped Maidana in the first round with a body shot, but throughout the fight, he ran. This was especially true when Maidana hurt him, which was a couple of times. Khan stoppped momentarily between running from Maidana's power to pot shot him all night long. It is what it is; Khan is a fighter with skills, but no chin.

He's insistant on staying in a division where he's barely what, top 15? Why do people even care what he says? Why are people even gonna buy him as a gatekeeper to Floyd? He's nothing. But this thread will probably have 30+ pages. And a lotta people that don't wanna order the show will order it just to see him get his ass kicked, because he'd be the underdog. His haters keep him relevant.
It's his success at the lighter weight classes which got him recognized originally. He then moved up to WW and got two rather high profile fights with Malignaggi and Maidana, where he struggled with the former and failed against the latter. If he remains relevant, it's not because of his haters, but because of his promoters and the media not ready to give up on him yet, and his connection to Mayweather. However, he won't be able to maintain any relevance if he loses one or two more fights. He will become a memory that even his haters will forget.
