Danny needs a better resume. He fights way too many soft opponents. He has started well, but needs to build on it, with beating more top opponents.

Floyd has supposedly 3 fights left after Maidana...I'd say Danny shouldn't even bother unless he's getting MAJOR payday. He has no shot of beating Floyd and he knows it. He could have had the fight after he beat Lucas and he was smart enough to know he didn't have a shot. Unless Floyd somehow loses 5 steps in the next 18 months I'd say don't do it..Garcia has a bright future without Floyd and I think his dad knows the right path to take for him.

Danny Garcia & his father are scared to death of Mayweather. So that fight isn't going to happen.

I think Danny should fight 2 fights before a Mayweather fight. 1 vs a top 10 WW, 2 vs a belt holder and if he wins both then hell yeah fight Floyd.

as for your quote that i bolded... if he loses to Angulo, then bye bye shot caller. He's going to HAVE to eventually move up with his big frame and i dont see him being as succesful moving up in weight. he's short, has stamina issues and imo gets beat by lara and any other top guys at 160+

I don't understand why Garcia isn't already moving up. It seems like all he needs is one credible win at 147 and he would have the fight all locked up.

I was thinking this too. Not sure what else Danny can do at 140 and being a GBP fighter; I mean who's there left for him to fight at that weight?

I'd like to see Danny move up though and see what he can do there before a fight with Floyd is even entertained.

Only way this fight is legitimate is if it takes place at 140

NO! I say work towards being the guy after Mayweather! Keep building up your fanbase on the East Coast and Puerto Rico and he could end up being that next big draw and nobody expect him to be after Mayweather steps away

I think that is what Al Haymon PREFERS, not sure who throwing Danny Garcia in with Mayweather is good for business for Al Haymon

Danny doesn't even fight at ww bro. That's like saying Ward is scared of the lhw sluggers.
