Meh. Broner got his ass kicked in his last fight so I've no problem with this.

I dont really have a problem with it either but for fu,ck sake not as the co-main event on one of the biggest ppv cards of the year.

People need to stop mixing up the wrong Molina's. Carlos Molina is the slickster sweet science guy who is already fighting Charlo, the one who toyed with Ishe Smith on Floyd's previous PPV. John Molina Jr. is the guy who sent TMT prospect Mickey Bey to the hospital with a concussion and knocked out teeth.

While John Molina does have a good track record against Broner types, I'm not sure if he can pull this one off.

Honestly did think of Carlos for a second tho, when I saw the headline. Then I thought..NAH and read on.

FWIW I got a lotta time for Carlos Molina, like a 154 Campillo - kept getting brought in as a tough 'opponent' but then boxing the s#it outta the guys he was supposed to just give a tough fight to..

John M's an OK opponent for AB to come back to tho, it just ...well, ain't a big fight.

Canelo must have been ducking Lara when Lara was fighting Ronald Hearns right? Or maybe when Lara was fighting Freddy Hernandez? Or maybe when Lara was fighting Vanes Martirosyan? Come on now, Canelo probably didn't even know who Lara was until he beat Angulo. And he's not going to fight someone with Lara's style coming off of a loss. Canelo might duck Lara in the future, but he hasn't ducked him yet.

Unless Broner does fight Khan next then it's all talk.
