Yeah Baldomir isnt getting the credit for that win... he deserves the fights now that he has gotten into that position and beaten the one that many tipped to win...Originally posted by DiegoFuegoA lot of people are ripping Hatton for fighting Maussa and Baldomir, but like it or not, it's a better choice than Zab Judah anyday. Judah lost to Baldomir, so fighting Baldomir is a great move by Hatton. He fights the guys who earned their belts UNLIKE Mayweather
But this is Mayweather, and Mayweather gets the special treatment so what else do you expect...
Check my thread about Mayweather. Apparently he can only beat Hatton on a certain bit of soil. Yet he is the best fighter in the world.
Figures.....

Am I missing something? Why did you say Hatton made a great move fighting Baldomir? Because he didn't. Floyd fought Baldomir, which was the rightful champion, by more than one sanctioning body too, unlike Carlos Maussa. But truth be told, both Maussa and Baldomir are guys who scored big upsets, and probably didn't have any business holding those belts anyway.Comment

Obviously Hatton didn't fight Baldomir lol. More nonsense coming from across the pond that I believed oh so long ago. I've since recognized him as the fraud he is.Am I missing something? Well, PBF fought BOTH Judah and baldomir. So there is no dispute. That would be like Hatton fighting Maussa and Vivian Harris.
And anyone who thinks that Maussa is a tougher or better opponent than Judah needs to have his fandom revoked.Comment
