Kovalev is more wrong for Stevenson than the other way around. Stevenson likes to fight on his terms at a slower pace - even Bellew ruffled his feathers when he came forward and he's not that good at it - very average. Kovalev is one of the better come forward fighters in the sport..

Garcia ended up fighting Matthysse and beating him in a close fight. If you fight a guy you aren't ducking him. If Steveson fights him then he is not ducking him. It looks to me like Steveson will duck him by pricing himself out of the fight. He is making a big deal out of his new advisor. Al Haymon being your advisor still does not entitle a fighter to get paid more than he is worth. Steveson will be the reason this fight might not happen. Kovalev will fight him for any reasonable amount of money.
