If Jermall Charlo’s confidence is an accurate indication of how he’ll fight Saturday night, Carlos Molina might just be headed for his first real loss in seven years.

Charlo called Molina a “steppingstone” and referred to himself as an “elite fighter” in advance of their 12-round fight for Molina’s IBF junior middleweight title. The Molina-Charlo clash will be part of the Canelo Alvarez-Alfredo Angulo undercard at MGM Grand in Las Vegas (Showtime Pay-Per-View; $59.95 in HD; 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT).

I like his confidence but Molina's gonna make it a rough fight. A rougher and uglier fight that Salido did against Loma. If he keeps his composure I can see him overcoming Molina and his butt ugly style

The Charlo bros are solid, but if Jermall comes out of this fight looking really good I will be very impressed.


Molina is not an easy fighter to look good against.

I disagree. Molina is so crafty, dirty, and mentally tough that he's almost impossible to look good against. Lara couldn't do it, Chavez Jr. couldn't do it, Ishe Smith couldn't do it, Kermit Cintron couldn't do it, James Kirkland couldn't do it, Cory Spinks couldn't do it, and Mike Alvarado couldn't do it.

If i were Charlo's promoter, Molina is the LAST guy I would of put him in the ring with. It will be an ugly boring fight and even if Charlo wins, he will look bad.

Don't know about School, but I'd take Charlo by decision
