2012 “Fighter of the Year” Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire’s quest for a fifth division world title, against South Africa’s IBF featherweight champion Simpiwe Vetyeka, is a done deal.

Top Rank promoter Bob Arum told BoxingScene.com/Manila Standard that the title showdown is pushing ahead on May 31 at the Cotai Arena of the plush Venetian Resort Hotel and Casino in Macau and “as a matter of fact we agreed on terms with everybody today (Tuesday) and we are getting the contract to Nonito tomorrow morning. But its all agreed to.”

Well, hopefully a win and a title will get Donaire's confidence back. He has loads of skill and talent, but he can't seem to pull the trigger right now.

His opponent is the WBA Featherweight Champion, not IBF.

LOL did anyone proofread this article "Australia's hard hitting southpaw Vic Darchinyan ???? I remember him coming from Armenia but anywho Vetyeka is a pretty solid fighter I slept on him when it came to the Chris John fight and afterwards did a proper scouting report of this guy if Donaire comes in the same way he did against Vic unfocused and not his 100% he will lose this fight.

Vic is Australian of Armenian descent. He was born Armenian.

If he says he doesn't want the Rigo rematch, he is ducking Rigo. If he says he wants it, he is a delusional idiot for thinking he can ever beat Rigo.

So which is it, haters? You can't have it both ways.
