Everyone thought the poll was rigged anyways. So in fact he is right.. him winning that rigged poll was a slap in the face to the fans

I dont feel bad for anyone who fell for the poll crap to begin with. Thats not how Floyd rolls. It was all for entertainment which was obvious from the start. People dont tell him what to do, a web site statistic sure as hell will not.

The poll was rigged anyway. The only poll Khan won was the one on Floyd's website. There was about 50 more polls on the net that Chino won going away. Floyd rigged the poll on his site to try and justify fighting Khan. But at the end of the day, he thought better of it and made the right decision to go ahead and fight Chino. I'm pretty sure there was quite a bit of behind-the-scene wheelin' and dealin' to get Broner to step aside as well.

funny thing is Khan, who i am always against, beats Broner quite easily.

Broner has terrible footwork and timing. he couldnt catch a slow Madaina.

Plus Madaina is a fighter not a pure boxer but still out boxed Broner.

at 147 or against top opposition at 140 Broner will lose a lot of bouts.

Khan is fast and long and if he keeps Broner away Broner loses easily.

However, hope Khan does not take the fight on floyds card, no reason to help

out his numbers after the pick.

Khan needs to dump GBP and sign with TR.

at least with Arum he knows he'll land a Pacquiao fight. GBP/Haymon will just jock him around. yeah he could fight Broner but since he isn't a Haymon fighter good luck with getting a fair decision.

It say in the article that if Broner and Khan fight is a risk for both fighters reputations if they loose. Well that is what the sport is all about. Enough of sustaining these guys with soft wins until they get the shot.

For my money, Khan vs Broner is a great matchup in the sense that one would be fighting for a shot at Floyd and the other for redemption. Both have had heavy critisicm and the winner gets another chance at some form of glory. And the syles would be intriguing. That fight or Thurman vs Mathysee gets me to buy. But Mares vs an unknown and Love/Periban, etc, just dont do it for my as an undercard. Floyd needs a Mathysee/Garcia equivelant to get the most buys.

I agree to a certain extent. But that's because in my mind all the Broner-Khan winner does is establishes the winner as what, the 15th best welterweight in the sport. That said, who else is Floyd supposed to fight. He's not fighting any TR guys. So no need to waste breath on that. No one currently at 54 outsells any of the guys available to him at 47. Garcia would IMO be the best option. But he's not moving up. If Porter and Thurman fought. The winner would be Floyd's best available welterweight option. But I suspect GBP is gonna keep those guys away from each other for the time being. If Cotto beats Martinez, I could see Floyd moving up to middleweight for a night to rematch Miguel. But Cotto winning is a long shot. Floyd going up to 60 is an even loger shot, IMO.
