If Floyd puts Khan vs. Thurman, I'll buy this PPV. The card is weak as currently advertised. I would love to see Khan earn his shot on the undercard, and I really think if Thurman wins, then he earned a shot too. Khan vs. Broner would sell me on the PPV too, but I'm not sure beating Broner says a lot, now that Broner lost and has only beat Paulie at 147. Another goodie would be Khan vs. Guerrero.

Mares vs Miura? No one knows Miura. This is not a superfigt. This card needs a Mathysee vs Garcia type quality fight like the Floyd vs Canelo card did or it will not draw intrigue the fans. A huge number of fans said it was the Mathysee vs Garcia fight that made them decide to buy the May/Canelo fight. This card needs an undercard fight that would stand alone as a PPV by itself.

I don't think a huge number of fans bought the ppv because of Garcia matthysse, that's just a few hardcore's.

I give casual fans way more credit. They read the articles in the paper and on the Net and hear about how great the undercard matchup is and learn from their friends and it is advertized that the Garcia/Mathysee fight is the fight of the night and like anyone, are influenced by the media and that can tip many people in the direction of paying for the card.

Mares vs Miura? Whatever happened to Mares vs Gonzalez 2. Gonzalez knocks you out cold, takes your title and what does Mares do. Instead of avenging his loss like a true champion, he runs like a little puss to a different weight class. And how can anybody justify Mares getting a title shot after getting kO'd in his last fight? This is part of what's wrong with boxing, more and more it's becoming nothing more than a gimmick.

                Khan-Broner isn't happening.

                Lucas-Thurman may though.

I get what youre saying but

                  1. Mares has had one of the toughest schedules in boxing
                  2. Miura is a really tough And risky fight. Win or lose Mares will get punished

this card could be decent if they put broner-khan on here or broner-collazo or khan-collazo also. Then its definately worth it with these two other fights. But damn im sick of love, dude is boring, id rather see mikey bey

This is a solid fight dont see what all the btching is about. Periban is a solid fighter nd deserves another crack at a world title.
