Salido knew he was being used as a stepping stone. He probably said to himself if this was his last fight at 126 then why even bother draining himself at the weigh in if he wasn't going to defend the title anymore. He took his 11 pound advantage and won the fight and ultimately guaranteed himself a good payday at 130 with the win regardless of how he got it. Salido was looking out for salido cause Bob certainly wasn't.

Most people act in their best interest, Arum happens to be very public and cold blooded about it (which is a big part of why he is successful).

Which is also why when you listen to Arum you always have to ask yourself why is he saying that and how does it benefit him, even if he is telling the truth or is right he does everything for a reason.

salido is not really his fighter, he is with zanfer so watch him fight a bum in mexico on his next fight.
zanfer guys usually get called by top rank when they need em.

He does, but so does every promoter. For example Khan gets a lot of love from GBP as well as Broner, while Maidana has been used as that stepping stone and always got the short end of the stick. Canelo gets a lot of love too...

Peoblem with Rigo is that he forced TR to co promote with another company or he wouldn't sign the fight with Donaire. Google it.

Not that I agree with Bob at all, but certainly I can see why he would hate it. It means less money for him... and he is greedy.

Arum is a smart man but sometimes smart people do ****** things. Trashing a fighter he promotes is ****** and wrong. Rigo deserves better treatment.

I don't see Salido listed in the Top Tank website. He must be a Zanfer fighter, not a TR fighter.

he gave him a headlining card after HBO said they never wanted to see him again. Rigo will be fighing in Macau next where the fans most likely won't be walking out of his fight like the last one. What more else do you want him to do?

If Rigo wants the main events, if he wants the big money, hes going to have to keep asses in seats. Thats what Arum is basically telling him. Im glad Arum is so brutally honest. Everybody wants to be coddled and hear the same cookie cutter, political correct type answers. Bob don't give a **** what people think lol
