      BOTH were illegal. Even Salido's holding in the last few rounds was just crazy!

      Bottom line is that you can't blame the fighters (you can but) YOU MUST blame the terrible officiating. If there was a competent ref, this fight had a chance ..... but what we saw was very frustrating to watch.

        Excessive holding is the reason I don't like Ward, Hatton, Mosley and other fighters that hold or hold with one hand and hit with the other hand.

          Absolutely, the ref was terrible last night, just like he was in the Broner Maidana fight. People have said he's been lousy in other fights but I haven't seen them.

            That's it. While the fighters are to blame but the ref is the one that let this get out of control. If he gave stern warnings from the get go that he would be deducting a point, this fight had a chance to be a good one.
