hes too weak a puncher to weigh 320 pounds. all people have to do is watch the ruiz fight to see how to beat valuev and someone stronger will knock him out i think. maybe wlad or brewster. but i dont at all take valuev seriously right now but hey he might change my mind if he actually does anything. people say short guys like tua would struggle with him but i say the first good body shot this guy gets puts him down for the count.

I say neither.

He's a mediocre heavyweight who is surprisingly agile and skilled for his size, but mediocre none the less. However, considering the dearth of real competitors in the weight class which was once dubbed the "crown ***el of boxing" he's a legit contender. Valuev arguably lost his title fight and the eliminator beforehand and did nothing to garner his WBA ranking so I don't consider him to be any more or less a legitimate champion than Riuz was. That's not saying much.

unless he starts knocking people hes going to be considered a joke, at first I was impressed by him but his last few fights have been ****...
