Julio Cesar Chavez Jr just said he wants GGG next

Let's make it happen...... Great showing vs Vera.......
    At 168 ??? Most likely......
    Thoughts ?

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr just redeemed himself in a hard nosed, well earned victory over a determined Brian Vera.... Julio said he's ready to take the mantle as the next great Mexican Boxer to the masses.... That's a enormous aspiration !!!

GGG is taking time off to deal with his Father's passing.... Family trumps everything but God himself.....
    ................. A quick breakdown........
Chavez Jr.'s terrific, consistent and punishing body attack.... His iron chin is proven.... He has decent power.... He knows how it feels to go 12 rounds..... His higher quality of opponents give him the experience edge in big fights...
But stamina can become a issue.... His overall quickness and hand speed is a small disadvantage.... The thing I see is his propensity to lower his head, leaning in on the inside, it's just begging for uppercuts.... He needs to a address that before stepping in the ring with GGG....

GGG has tremendous power in both hands.... He mixes up his attack to the body and head well.... His constant pressure doesn't give opponents room to breathe.... He has a great sense of balance and distance..... Good chin....
Stamina might also be a issue, no one lasts long enough for us to find out.... He takes some risks while in pursuit.... Lacks experience vs high level opponents....
.......... Well, let the games begin !!!!!

Is he really willing to go down to 160?

He should fight Kovalev at 175.

Jr. would get destroyed, even if he is bigger.

                I want to see it.

Either Jr. gets the upset win of the decade or he gets an embarrassing beatdown.

                It's a win-win for the fans.

I thought GGG was gonna stay at middleweight 4 now. If that's the case GGG should fight the winner of Martinez/cotto b4 moving up. Would b good 2 c though considering the chavez chin/pressure and also can GGG take the power up a weight class!

What I think will happen is GGG will fight JCC in June-July at 168 but GGG will come in light...and then will fight Martinez (if he wins) in the fall...
