Salido is not a respectful professional that much is all but evident.

Just because you can get away with something because the referee, fans, commentary and judges are all on your side it doesn't mean you should do it.
It was disgraceful and the fact he never made the weight aswell and was acting as if he was the champion... ?!?!
He just had a seriously competitive fight with a guy who only has 1 pro fight and even at that I still didn't think Salido done enough to win the fight his work was very sloppy and untidy.

No matter how generous I could be, I can't see any way that Loma won that fight.

Surely we shouldn't be counting lowblows as scoring punches though?

They might score body punches all as powershots but I don't quite agree, Saldio was the one gassed at the end of the fight not Loma the shots Salido were landing were Hatton-esque but not doing an awful lot of damage.

You got to look at it from both sides. Lomachenko was clinching like crazy so Salido punched him low. That's what you're supposed to do. I was saying Povetkin should have did it to Wlad and Kirkland should have did it to Molina.

Salido was eating that boy up in the inside and the excessive clinching prevented him from doing more work.

Why can't these amateur superstars fight inside anymore? Its like a lost art.

I thought he won more rounds. Sure he faded late but on my books he had already won 7 rounds by outworking and outpunching Loma so Loma needed a ko to win.

Yea right.. He had to resort to holding on the inside because he was fighting a guy who was two weight classes above him.
