A beautiful performance by AA. I was surprised with the jab accuracy, foot work, and no peekaboo defense. One of the score cards was a joke and the referee basically saved Stieglitz from getting knocked out. I scored it 118:112 for Arthur

what fight were you watching, author?

Completely disagree with the author. Stieglitz tried to bully AA to cause the same eye to get swollen again but nothing worked as he was barely landing clean shots. While AA used the ring with the nice footwork, countering well, jabbing and landing clean, accurate, and powerful shots.
You described the fight as you were justifying the embarrassing one of the judges scorecards.

Agree 100%. See, we know boxing here. We can't be bs'd. For the first few rounds Steiglitz tried rushing and mauling AA with his simple 1-2. Didn't work. AA has a bob, slip, and step out of trouble. Steiglitz only fights in one direction: a big, strong buy but not ring-skilled and clever. AA showed there's more to him than just blocking and power.

Yeah... Abraham haters were saying Stieglitz was going to clean his clock again. It was obvious to me that Abe was going to put on a performance more like the first fight than the 2nd one, which was more of an anomaly.

You guys bring up great points. This match up would be very attractive. They could easily sellout Staples Center for this fight.

Of course the hispanic/latino population is larger, but there's a good Armenian population there too.

This fight would do great. I'd def watch it live, it would be a good scrap.

But what power. Those jabs were knocking Stieglitz back. He utilized it this fight, but if only he jabs more he'd be a much better fighter. Keeping his opponents off him while hurting them, and maintaining distance for those hooks to connect.

Yes, never write-off a warrior that's been in with the very best for many years. AA was the best Steiglitz ever fought.
