Comments Thread For: Abraham Drops, Decision Stieglitz To Reclaim His Title

GETEC Arena, Magdeburg, Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany - Arthur Abraham (39-4, 28KOs) won a twelve round split decision over Robert Stieglitz (46-4, 26KOs) to reclaim the WBO super middleweight crown in their anticipated trilogy battle. The scores were 113-112 for Stieglitz, 115-110 for Abraham and 114-111 for Abraham.

They first met in August of 2012, with Abraham winning a twelve round unanimous decision to take the WBO title from Stieglitz. Last March, Stieglitz got revenge with a fourth round TKO of Abraham, who had a severely swollen eye and was unable to continue.

Surprised that Abraham was fighting off his back foot, but did a decent job.

Didn't like that at the end there the ref took a good 10 seconds from Abraham when he was trying to finish of Stieglitz.

Maladec Arthur good fight bro !! If you ran the extra mile you could have gone for the knockout but it was not bad.

Yes he has and it was a pitiful performance to say the least. To be honest I don't think they'll take that road anytime soon, he's heading to the last stage of his career so they will probably try to make some money first.

Yep what was that bull**** ! I was about to explode. But to be fair AA dropped a blow while Rob was down so it's fair at the end of the day.

I guarantee you that if Chavez Jr. wins tonight, that will be the next fight Chavez and his people will seek.
