he possesses speed, movement, power, stamina controlled aggression, ring IQ and an excellent finisher and well spoken as he says everything right on his interviews.

everything about him is well balanced. theres really nothing negative i can point out about him.

He can get sloppy and reckless. Defense isn't good either. I suspect his chin isn't iron.

I'd pick him to beat everyone at 147 except for Floyd and Garcia. He's the second most stylistically intriguing match up for Floyd right behind Lara.

Thurman is a great fighter and has the style to be a star.


however, every time I watch him, I always think if someone were to catch him when he misses one his big power shots, he would be in huge trouble. the way his head is positioned when he misses worries me,

he can be hur. . however he has all the tools to rule the division. Tighten up the defense and learn not to be reckless and careless at times.

there's a lot of resentment towards Garcia.

He beat up, and oftentimes it was by upset, a lot of guys with fruity fan bases: Morales, Amir, and most recently Lucas.

Part of the problem is Garcia doesn't look impressive pulling off these upsets. Keith will be another Garcia upset if they fight.

Thurman is good but his chin is suspect if he can manage to keep winning and not get knocked out by can with power he might just be a Bradley 2.0

I think he is one of the 4 best welterweights in the world. I am not sure he can beat the other 3 best welterweights who in my opinion are Mayweather, Pacquiao and Bradley. I think his power is the difference and he beats Bradley on points. Mayweather and Pacquiao are great fighters and fast as lightning. I think they could outpoint Thurman.

Floyd, Bardley, Manny, and Porter imo can beat him. I don't see this most complete fighter ever and going undefeated against legit comp just yet. When he fights one of them or anyone close to them it'll be easier to get a better picture.
