  • Comments Thread For: Burns vs. Crawford Early Results: Ogogo Wins Decision

Middleweight prospect Anthony Ogogo (5-0, 2KOs) had his first fight of 2014, as he scored a six round unanimous decision over Greg O'Neill (3-2). The sole score by the referee was 60-54. The Olympic silver medal winner is hungry to stay very busy in the new year after some minor setbacks that affected his activity.

I wouldn't say that, it's just his punching technique is wrong in my opinion. And he doesn't put enough weight behind his punches, but if he can rectify that, he could do ok, and let's not forget this is only his 5th fight.

Got to agree with Dan on this one. On the rare occasions he does sit down on a punch, he's still got the power of a wet lettuce. Defence leaky too.

Joshua's team is doing a HORRID job of managing him!!! They put him in with hapless, hopeless gravy train setups and this time a guy who has been stopped 11 times!!! Are you ***ing kidding me??!!! He is never going to develop stamina with blowouts.

It's a selling point. They were making a lot of hay about how the guy took Chisora 9 rounds to ko. If he fights for the British title soon he'll go rounds.

He looked bad as an amateur. He got a hometown decision and a beating in the Olympics. He never looked good, but a guy has to eat, I guess.
