I've never understood why boxing fans who are mildly curious about a fight, but don't believe that it's worth a $70 PPV, don't just go to a local strip club and watch it for a $5 entrance fee. Even those who don't like strip clubs can go about 30 minutes before fight time, have a few beers, and leave when it's over.
I guess I don't understand the false choice often presented here of: 'I'm not buying this garbage' or 'Hell yeah, I'm throwing a fight party'--seems like there's room for compromise.
P.S. Maybe it's just where I live here in Dallas, but there are always at least 10 strip clubs showing the fight for a nominal ($3-$5) admission fee
