Comments Thread For: Mayweather Defends Pearson Win, Choice Of Tough Foe

Floyd Mayweather sat barely ten feet from the ring as he watched one of his prized prospects get knocked out in barely over a minute, and another survive the stiffest test of his career to date.

Minutes before Badou Jack was dropped twice en route to a 1st round knockout loss to Derek Edwards, unbeaten Chris Pearson managed to climb off the canvas to preserve his unbeaten record with a split decision over Lanardo Tyner. The bout opened a televised Shobox tripleheader, which took place Friday evening at the Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York. [Click Here To Read More]

Yup it really wasn't even surprising seeing how he was shook up in his last fight. It was hella funny tho The praying Mantis faceplant.

Yeah Pearson won but not much to his own credit, the 38 year old was pushing this "young prospect" to the brink and have away theast two rounds which put Pearson ahead on my card.

Anytime an out of shape, overweight natural 140 pound bloodies, hits at will and drops a Junior Middleweight prospect, the "prospect" isn't that much of a prospect. As to Badou, he cannot block a right hand if his life depended on it.

Badou could've had two sets of legs, there was no way he was surviving another ten seconds after that second knock down.
