    Floyd Mayweather ended months of speculation earlier in the week when he revealed his choice of Marcos Maidana as his opponent for the May 3 Showtime Pay-Per-View blockbuster event at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The official announcement came on Monday as Mayweather was celebrating his 37th birthday.

    The news resonated well with most fans, although to the detriment of those who hoped for longtime frontrunner Amir Khan to land the assignment. The former two-time titlist was under the impression for months that the fight was all his, even pulling out of a scheduled title fight with then-welterweight titlist Devon Alexander to ensure that nothing stood in the way of the May 3 jackpot fight.

        Maidana looked great vs Broner but Adrien had the wrong game plan and never adjusted he thought he could bully Maidana. Floyd is a different animal he is just too smart for him it will be a replay of Alvarez fight.....

          Mayweather is smart and everyone knows that... So Mayweather KNEW he was picking Maidana after Maidana beat Broner... Which gave Mayweather time to get a head start on preparing for Maidana....

          SO BASICALLY MAYWEATHER HAS BEEN TRAINING FOR MAIDANA SINCE JANUARY... AND THEN WAITS TO THE VERY END TO TELL MAIDANA AND THE PEOPLE "OK I AM FIGHTING MAIDANA"... NOW THAT GIVES MAIDANA ONLY 2 MONTHS TO TRAIN FOR THE BIGGEST FIGHT OF HIS LIFE.

          AS TO MAYWEATHER, WHO WILL HAVE HAD 4 MONTHS TO GET READY FOR MAIDANA. LIKE I SAID ... EVERYONE KNOWS MAYWEATHER IS NOT ******....

FUNNY how now that he feels he has YET ANOTHER excuse NOT to fight Manny Pacquiao he comes out of hiding and starts talking all this B.S. about Manny only wanting to fight Floyd because of Money. MANNY HAS BEEN WANTING TO FIGHT FLOYD FOR THE FANS SINCE 2009.. WE'RE GOING ON 5 ****ING YEARS OF B.S. EXCUSES FROM MAYWEATHER!!.. I really hope he doesn't fight Manny.. Marquez, Diaz, De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto... PACQUIAO HAD 5 PPV's from 2007 to 2009 and Mayweather only had 2. So that Alone has Pacquiao getting more money in PPV's than Mayweather. Also The "PACQUIAO vs. COTTO" fight did more PPV BUYS than Mayweather vs. Hatton and Cotto Combined.

          So this B.S. which is just what it is "B.S." about Pacquiao wanting to fight or needing Mayweather for Money is just ANOTHER DUMB EXCUSE BY A PERSON WHO KNOWS HOW TO RUN AND HIDE OR TALK HIS WAY OUT OF A FIGHT WHEN IT COMES TO MANNY PACQUIAO.. I like Floyd as a defensive fighter, but other than that he is boring to watch, he was never active or exciting like Pacquiao has always been.           Mayweather can eat some steaks and put some weight on his ass, so Andre Ward can whip it. He knows he couldn't draw flies to a dumpster until he beat Oscar De Lahoya. I know this is true, because I was managing him when he couldn't sell out his hometown of Grand Rapids or the San Francisco Auditorium, which only seats 6,000 people.

          Any man that represented the United States of America and won a gold medal is not only known, but appreciated by all Americans. Something Floyd didn't accomplish. And that invitation on his blueprints for knowing how to get millions - we pass on that, because we know how to make millions, but more importantly, how to keep it.


          Floyd Mayweather Jr. is trying to stay away from Pacquaio, so he won't be faced with Pacquaio getting in his ass. But at the end of the day, he would have a problem with Pacquaio, because Pacquiao is a real one. And Floyd knows, like I know, that he's uncomfortable with real men around him.

              You had me with him trying to get a training edge on Maidana.. but when you started crying about a Pacquiao fight I clicked off. May vs Pac has been dead since 2010 when both sides ****ed it up.. get over it.

                  I'm surprise and is very proud of Floyd, he actually didn't mention anything about how Maidana is undefeated.
