With Roach making Cotto fight like his old self left hooks to body and aggressive. Who wins?

Martinez. An aggressive swarming Cotto suits Martinez perfectly. Martinez will hit Cotto to the body relentlessly and jab him from the outside, just like Trout did. Only chance Cotto has is if Martinez's knee drastically deteriorates from now until the fight.

Be rooting for Cotto but believe Martinez got this.
I think Cotto will be that old style aggressive fight with his hooks to body and head....but it won't help.
Martinez is used to bigger guys charging in on him aggressively ..and he handled them well. A little guy with less power won't do enough...but if Sergio fights with anger or gets careless because of his favoritism he may get caught with that lucky punch, that may lead to the beginning of the end.

I will be rooting for Miguel but believe Sergio takes this one. BUT, you never know, Martinez might be old and worn enough just for a seemingly revitalised Cotto to take him...Good fight that I look forward too a lot.

This. Not only is Martinez likely better p4p even in their prime but he has a bit of a size advantage... Still, if ever Cotto was going to be able to beat Sergio it would be at this stage in Sergios career...

Roach will do a great job training Cotto. But no trainer can train a guy to do something he does not have the skills, speed and stamina to do. Martinez is faster than Cotto. He hits harder than Cotto. He is bigger and stronger than Cotto. He takes a punch better than Cotto and he has more stamina than Cotto. I guess Cotto could win but it seems very unlikely to me.

i only give cotto a puncher's chance. cotto is not going to outwork, outbox, outmuscle, outanything sergio. i think it's crazy a lot of people are picking cotto to win on twitter and on instagram. but then again, they're most likely just casuals who DKSAB.
