I'm usually a Chavez Jr. hater but I have a feeling he's going to whoop Vera this time around.

I've been a Chavez hater, but I dislike him for the fact that he never trains to his potential and he got an easier way for the title. He is good though, Either we know he's way better than Vera and that will be proven tomorrow.

So what you're saying is that 2 taxi drivers that don't make weight for their 4 round Tijuana club fight is just as significant as Floyd or Broner not making weight for main event title fights? Cmon son. You're the ****** one!

Everythings a 'robbery' in boxing. Chavez outboxed Vera first fight. Vera had more heart and activity but that doesn't win boxing matches. Chavez way more skilled and intelligent fighter. Will show up in this fight with Vera giving a valiant effort. People gotta start recognizing skills in boxing not just aggression and activity.

Its effective aggression, Vera was guilty of lots of it. How do you outbox someone who is out landing and out throwing you in 8 of 10 rounds. Vera clearly won the first fight. It's not even debatable, unless your Kellerman and Lampley and are supporting HBOs agenda.

Every time i see your signature it reminds me how awesome it is to watch someone beaten with plaster. Maybe you could add a pic of Billy Collins as well, it'd be hilarious.

I am surprised Chavez made weight. I think he will win but after that the record books should say 1-1 instead of 2-0.

Yes but most of his loses, came with him being a young teenager fighting grown ass men.

Since 2004 his 4 loses have been to Mikey Garcia, Yuriorkis Gamboa, Cristobal Cruz (in a fight you can argue he won, and beat Cruz in the rematch) and Juan Manuel Marquez.
Not a bad list to lose too.

If Chavez Jr did this without a banned substance, and won the fight, let's say by TKO or clear UD since Vera is tougher than people think, in my eyes he'd have redeemed himself.
