Official Chavez Jr vs Vera RbR & Discussion thread

San Antonio, Texas - The weights are in for Saturday night at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas - where Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. will have a rematch with Bryan Vera. They fought last September, where Chavez won a controversial ten round unanimous decision at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. No weight issues this time around, as both boxers weighed in at 167.5-pounds.

      Ohh

Loma is going to get an easy KO. Salido will be weight drained, weak and his punch resistance will be gone.

        Salido is 2.25 pounds overweight.

He'll be stripped, Lomachenko can win vacant title.

This was my main fear. Salido said he's was struggling with the weight for a 1+ year now. Fkin A.

          Let the Lomachenko hype begin.

            So it begins.....

Let the "Salido was never elite and is an old, past it journeyman who lost every time he stepped up... This means absolutely nothing!" Bandwagon begin

Playing the target for a machine gunner like Lomachenko for 10-11 rounds hoping to get a late ko while you're weight drained is not a good idea.

So no matter what happens, Salido won't have the belt anymore... no way he drops the weight safely in the time allotted

Who would have thought the overweight fighter would have been salido and not Chavez jr.
