I think they usually read like baseball lines. A fight like Vargas Mosley might read like this with numbers I am making up:
Vargas +150
Mosley -180

That of course means that you'd bet $100 on Fernando to win $150 and $180 on Shane to win $100. The two numbers don't usually evenly match up from what I understand. As far as placing the bets goes I have no advice but it seems there are plenty of places on the net willing to take your bet. Good luck

no if they are +150 you'd win back your original 100 you put down plus 150. If they are a fav you get back your original but your percentage gain is less

I personally think that a bet on Vargas, even with the great odds, is a terrible bet judging from the two recent Vargas fight bombs.
