Margaritos career, record, and accomplishments are tainted and have an asterik next to it. He is one of the biggest cheats in the sport. He is a loser. I wish people would stop acting like this guy was something. Once we found out about the plaster, nothing he has ever done matters anymore.

Until Chavez Jr, Brandon Rios or Canelo win again, they are going to be pretending Margarito is an ATG. It happens.

Trinidad never got caught the way Margo did.

I, for one, hate roid cheats like Berto, Peterson, Mosley, Gamboa or Salido with a passion, but PEDs are not nearly as bad as doctored wraps.

And yes, Margarito is an unmitigated ******. Not only did he cheat, he tried to blame it on his trainer/team when he got caught.

Yes he did, he just didn't face any consequences like Margarito did. They caught Trinidad before the Hopkins fight. They alternated layers of tape and gauze, which made his fists like concrete.

I don't know if we should call them cheaters, but their careers are definitely tainted.

He did. He threatened to pull out of the Hopkins fight if they made him re-wrap his hands. He went through with the fight and got the worst beating of his life. Cheating is cheating. If there is an asterisk next to Margaritos W's then there should be one on Trinidad's as well. Posters here won't admit it but Racial prejudice has a lot to do with deciding on who's a "Dirty P.O.S cheat" and who gets a pass.

For the record I'm neither Rican nor Mexican, and I never cared much for Trinidad. I just think that if he had been as obviously guilty as Margo was, a bigger deal would have been made out of it.
